Description :

Inteam’s YC-300 is an PVC calcium-zinc heat stabilizer. It utilizes a Ca-Zn organic composite system based on high-grade calcium and zinc fatty acids, and incorporates high-performance heat-resistant additives and primary and secondary antioxidants, processed through a special manufacturing process. It is suitable for various PVC materials and products, including white, light-colored, colored, and mixed-color applications. Specifically, it can be used in national standard JR70 wire and cable and power cable materials, and is also compatible with international standards such as UL60-UL80/VDE70 for power cords, electronic wires, and computer peripheral cables. It also meets the requirements of PVC insulation/sheathing for fixed wiring, flexible cords, and general cables in the IEC 60227 series. Furthermore, this product is suitable for extruded products such as mesh fabrics, drawn wire braiding, and hoses, calendered products such as adhesive tapes, films, and leather, and soft injection molded products such as shoe materials and plugs.

Main Components: 

Ca-Zn series organic complex. Based on high-grade calcium fatty acid and high-grade zinc fatty acid, it is compounded with high-performance heat-resistant additives, primary and secondary antioxidants, etc., and processed through a special composite technology.

Physical Properties: 

Appearance: Light yellow to white powder; Specific Gravity: 1.5±0.1

Characteristics:

  1. Environmentally friendly, complying with the requirements of RoHS, REACH, PAHS and NO-16P.
  2. Excellent electrical insulation, water and oil resistance, and strong water absorption resistance, which is beneficial for secondary processing.
  3. Superior anti-precipitation performance when used in white, light-colored, colored and variegated PVC plastic products.
  4. Excellent color retention performance; the products have bright and vivid luster, and there is almost no color difference in materials after long-term shutdown.
  5. Excellent weather resistance; no color difference or fading occurs when the finished products are placed.
  6. Resistant to high shear, no sticking particles during air cutting, and supports full-speed operation of extrusion equipment.
  7. Less material discharge and rubber discharge during wire extrusion, resulting in less material waste.
  8. Good dispersibility, fast temperature rise during powder mixing, and no powder flying.

Applications: 

Generally applicable to white, light-colored, colored and variegated PVC plastic materials and products.

  1. Suitable for national standard JR70 wires and cables, and power cable materials.
  2. Suitable for power cords, electronic wires and computer peripheral wire materials that meet international standards such as UL60~UL80/VDE70.
  3. Suitable for international standard IEC 60227 series, PVC insulated/sheathed fixed wiring, flexible wires and general cables.
  4. Suitable for extrusion-molded products such as mesh cloth, drawn wire weaving and hoses.
  5. Suitable for calendered products such as rubber sheets, films and leather.
  6. Suitable for soft injection-molded products such as shoe materials and plugs.

Usage and Dosage

  1. Dosage: 3~5 PHR per 100PHR resin

(Note: PHR refers to Parts Per Hundred of Resin)

Packaging and Storage

  • Packaging: 25kg paper-plastic compound bag.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. It is advisable to use up the product within one year.

Notes: 1.Customers need to appropriately adjust the lubrication system according to different processing machines and formulas. 2. In the formula system of relatively soft materials with a certain amount of chlorinated paraffin, reduce the dosage of stearic acid and PE wax, and test the precipitation performance.
